Später folgten unzählige weitere Megahits wie u.a. Best of Rednex-Impact!!! Dieser Erfolgstitel war „Spirit Of The Hawk“. “The Best Of The West“ enthält somit natürlich all die bekannten Songs wie „Old Pop In An Oak“ oder „Wish You Where Here“. .

Many dance halls are owned by all-volunteer nonprofit organizations, and the halls typically have unmet maintenance or building systems needs. In 2016, TDHP started a Preservation Fund and has made small grants to four nonprofit halls. We’ve helped dance hall owners earn revenue and find other funding for hall repairs, and we’ve consulted with them on how to make appropriate changes that don’t damage the important historic elements that make dance hall architecture unique.

  • The Global Jukebox: the International Music Industry
The Global Jukebox Popular music is with us constantly. It is part of our everyday environment in McLuhan’s ‘Global Village’ and is now amongst the most universal means of communication. The Global Jukebox is the first comprehensive study of the international music industry at a time of great change, as the entertainment industry acknowledges its ever growing global audience. It provides an international overview of the music business and its future prospects in the global marketplace. As record companies are swallowed up by massive multimedia empires Robert Burnett examines the relationship between local and global cultures and between concentration of ownership (the ‘Big Six’ multinational corporations Time Warner, Sony, Philips, Bertelsmann, Thorn-EMI and Matsushita) and the impact of subsequent economic imperatives on music production and consumption. Other topics include definitions of popular music; current industry developments; the new media technologies —digitalization, satellite broadcasting and ‘virtual music stores’ on the Internet; and the role of the largest and single most important market for commercial music, the United States. The Global Jukebox not only illuminates the workings of the contemporary entertainment industries, it captures the dynamics at work in the production of musical culture between the transnational media conglomerates, the independent music companies and the public. It is essential reading for anyone studying popular music. Robert Burnett is Head of Media and Communication Studies at the University

  • 1999-2019 Twenty Years of History
1999-2019 TWENTY YEARS OF HISTORY This book was prepared by Milan Zjalic but still would not have been possible without the support and assistance of Eleonora Azzaro, Gianfilippo Ercolani, Matthias Gauly, Christian Lambertz, Federica Motterle, Andrea Rosati, Marlene Sciarretta, Kimberley Slinger, Marija Spehar and many others. The European Association for Animal Science wishes to express its appreciation to the Italian Ministero per le Politiche Agricole Alimentari, Forestali e del Turismo for the valuable support. Graphic design: G. Ercolani Printed by Pixartprinting S.p.A. - August 2019 In 1999 John Hodges summarized the first 50 years of history for EAAP in a booklet. It was and it is an historical source, very useful to read about what EAAP experienced and achieved in the first 50 years of its life. We decided not to wait till 2049 to prepare the second “50 years of history”. We thought that since 1999 many things have changed in EAAP that were worth to describe. So, it was easy to take the decision to produce a second booklet. More important was the question to whom we should ask to write the 20 years period!? No doubts that there is only one person to ask: Milan Zjalic. He is probably the only one who has participated continuously to the EAAP life in this period. He has seen all developments and changes in EAAP in comparison with the changes of animal science and livestock industry sector. The work of Milan was then completed by the staff with important comments and suggestions. Some photographs were then added to help to recall memories of some people participating to the development of EAAP.
