He's one marketer that truly cares about helping people. And he proves it all the time by posting money-making tips, case studies and full-blown plans on his blog and Facebook page. Don posted a case study where he sold Chicago Blackhawk hoodies, direct to a TeeSpring landing page. He had no fan page, no fans, nothing but the TeeSpring page and Facebook ads. Before going to bed that night, I promised I would have a campaign running on TeeSpring, following Donald's advice. And I did. Thus began my adventure. They say there's no better way to learn than by doing. It's only been a week since I started my campaign. And honestly, I made a lot of mistakes. Mistakes which stressed me out and cost me money. But I learned a hell of a lot. Even with the mistakes I made, I hit what I consider a home run. I sold 164 hoodies, making a net profit of around $2300! THAT'S $2,293 IN PURE PROFIT IN ONE WEEK That profit came from about 3 hours effort in research, Photoshop and ad creation. After that, all I did was monitor my ads each day, which isn't even work. It's fun seeing how much money you're making. And I did it all in the week before Christmas, which should be horrible for these types of sales. Because of the way Teespring works, these people won't even get their hoodies until mid-January. And I still killed it. And moreover, I learned a simple technique which can easily earn me $2,000/week ( $104,000/yr ) working 4 hours a week. And a hell of a lot more if you do a few campaigns each week. Here's what you need to succeed: 1. The guts to spend advertising dollars when you've got a proven winner 2. At least $200 in cash or credit for advertising but $500 is even better 3. The ability to wait 3 weeks or so for your money If you don't meet these rules, it's going to be difficult to succeed. While you can make a lot of money, you have to be able and willing to wait for it. And don't underestimate the #1 requirement; it takes guts to ramp up a campaign to $300/day or more. It is scary. But if you do it carefully, with proven ads, you will have the opportunity to make the big bucks. On Donald's $19,400 campaign, he spent $6,500 in advertising. He spent $1,250/day on ads. You and I can't do that, but you still need to be able to spend $100/day or more to make the big paydays. HOW TO PICK A WINNER PART 1 The key to having a winner out of the gate is simple... Swipe something that works! If you don't read anything else... If you ignore every other word in this book, do not ignore this advice. It's so hard for some people to do this. They want to be clever. They want to create their own unique design. The problem is, you're going to fail 90% of the time when you do that. You and I don't know what our market wants. We have to let them tell us, at least in the beginning. When you have a few successful campaigns and have money to test, you can start trying new designs. But in the beginning, give yourself a huge advantage and research to find out what is selling. And by swipe, I don't mean copy. Find out what works and apply it to another team, state or niche. Just go there and browse the pages and look at the sales. This page is showing the big winners. This will not only give you ideas to test, it will show you which markets are saturated. And anyone doing that is a big player. They've spent a lot of advertising dollars on these shirts and a lot of the market has seen it. This shirt is probably played out. The only way it will work is if you can find a team they haven't hit. And I'll tell you how to do that in part 3. If you can find a smaller niche or a missed team, this is a sure winner. 2. Teeview Teeview scrapes the web for teespring campaigns. It then displays them in a searchable, sortable database. You can sort by top sellers, search for team names, etc. And you can see exactly how the shirts are doing. This is a great resource to find winners in niches you haven't even thought of. 3. Google You can search Google to find out how saturated a particular market is or determine if your target team has already seen the shirt. Here's how you do it: Go to google.com and search for this: site:teespring.com <team name> Here's an actual example for the shirts which say God first: God First Search 4. Top Tee Sites These sites are not only huge t-shirt sellers, but they allow you to sort their T-shirts by popularity! How awesome is that?
