He helped his team advance to the CIF Regionals, the CIF Southern Sectionals and the CIF State Finals while playing in numerous national tournaments. Gauvin was also a four-year letterwinner who earned all-league honors his final three sea- sons at Valencia High School. He helped his team to Southern Sectional finals and a second place finish.
