K.D. LANG ANNOUNCES FALL LEG OF NORTH AMERICAN INGÉNUE REDUX TOUR Tickets on sale now for Broward Center for the Performing Arts kick off to tour that received huge critical acclaim on first leg of North American dates

FORT LAUDERDALE – Celebrating the 25th anniversary of her GRAMMY®-award winning, critically acclaimed album Ingénue, k.d. lang has announced the fall leg of her North American Ingénue Redux Tour, which will bring a live performance of the platinum-selling record to venues across the . Fans in cities such as Dallas, Nashville and Orlando can experience the album live, performed in its entirety.

Tickets are on sale now for the tour’s kick-off concert on Friday, September 7 at 8 p.m. in the Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

As part of this tour lang will perform songs from Ingénue – including the GRAMMY-award winning hit “Constant Craving” – along with hits from her 2004 album Hymns of the 49th Parallel. The tour’s first leg of North American Dates had critics talking:

This tour follows the release of a re-packaged, re-mastered Anniversary edition of Ingénue, released by Nonesuch last year. The two-disc set includes eight previously unreleased live performances from lang’s 1993 MTV Unplugged episode, recorded in City’s famed Theater. Watch her performance of “Constant Craving” HERE.

After first appearing on stage as the cowgirl with the golden voice, she went on to become the crooner who sang “Constant Craving” and also achieved much success interpreting other artists’ songs. Branching out into uncharted territory isn’t foreign to lang. In 2014, she guest-starred in the hit TV show Portlandia. In 2015, the Alberta Ballet staged an original performance piece called Balletlujah!, based on the life and music of lang. More recently, lang collaborated with indie icon Neko Case and respected folk singer/ to write and record the album case/lang/veirs, which was released in June 2016.

lang has won four GRAMMY awards, eight Juno Awards, a BRIT, an AMA, a VMA, and four awards from GLAAD. In 1996, she received Canada’s highest civilian honor, the Order of Canada and in 2013, she was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the Juno Awards. She has appeared alongside such musical luminaries as Roy Orbison, Bonnie Raitt, Elton John, , and Tony Bennett.
