They are currently the leader in the industry but because of the competitive nature of the industry and related industries, it is constantly attempting to expand and improve its operations and offerings. This project explores the hotel and motel industry in the United States and its trends and goes into detail about the brands that Marriott owns and the operations that they currently work under. It proposes that Marriott International form a new partnership with AmericInn, a private U.S. company with over 200 hotels mostly in the mid-west where Marriott it less concentrated.
