Conservation Fact One great way to help endangered species is to help the researchers who study them. The Amur Leopard and Alliance (ALTA) focuses on this critically endangered species and how to help them in their native lands. Conservation Fact The Giraffe Conservation Foundation has marked June 21st as “World Giraffe Day” to celebrate the longest day with one of the longest animals! How will you celebrate giraffes? Both males and females look the same until 6 months old, and males don’t grow their handsome tail feathers until about the age of three.
