I am writing to give you some advance notice of the open evening and test dates for schools in the London Borough of Sutton.
Each Sutton school holds an open evening and the dates and times are shown on the attached sheet. This will be an opportunity to take your child to the school, to see what facilities they have, and to ask questions regarding their curriculum and other activities.
Please note that some of these events are taking place in the summer term and schools may not offer additional opportunities to visit in the autumn term.
Some schools will require your child to sit a test or be assessed for all or some of their places. These tests or assessments take place in the autumn term and results are issued before the closing date for applications so that you know if your child is eligible for consideration and the school can be named on your application. Following registration, invitations to test or assessments will be issued by the schools.
Registration is normally done through the school website or a supplementary form available direc tly from the school.
Other schools may also have supplementary forms, and the deadlines for these are also shown.
Further details will be available from the school and will be included in Sutton’s online booklet which will be available by the summer holidays. Paper copies will not be available until the beginning of the Autumn term 2018.

* Please note that Greenshaw High School, Sutton Grammar School, Wallington County Grammar School, Wallington High School for Girls, Nonsuch High School for Girls and Wilson’s School are running a joint eligibility test on Tuesday 18th September 2018.
Grammar school applicants, with the exception of Wallington County Grammar School who pass the eligibility test will be invited to a second stage test. Please see individual school websites for details.
For those applying to Wallington County Grammar School & Greenshaw High School, the test on 18th September 2018 is the only test used to determine the rank order for selective places. There is no further test for these schools.
