Three named as 2015 Hall of Fame Recipients During the 2015 MAR Convention & EXPO General Membership Meeting/Awards Ceremony, Bruce Kammer of Picayune, Nancy Lane of Jackson and Joe Stedman of Natchez were chosen as the 2015 MAR Hall of Fame inductees. Established in 1994, the Hall of Fame honors Mississippi REALTORS® who have made extraordinary and distinguished contributions to the real estate profession in Mississippi over a period of at least 20 years and is the highest award given to Mississippi REALTORS®. All three inductees have served in numerous positions of leadership on the local, state and national levels.

Nell Wyatt honored as 2015 Mississippi REALTOR® of the Year Nell Wyatt of Ridgeland was honored as the 2015 Mississippi REALTOR® of the Year. Due to medical reasons, Wyatt was given the award before the convention and her hus- band Vic Wyatt officially accepted the award on her behalf at the MAR Convention & EXPO in Hattiesburg.

Hollister chosen as Instructor of the Year Lisa Hollister of Ocean Springs was recognized as the winner of the 2015 Mississippi REALTOR® Institute Instructor of the Year Award. The recipient of the award is chosen by the stu- dents based on receiving the highest scores on the student evaluations on an annual basis.

Two chosen for new Community Champions Award The Community Champions Award was established in 2015 to honor REALTOR® volunteers who give their personal time and resources and demonstrate extraordinary efforts to improve the quality of life in his or her community. As a result of a three year grassroots effort to educate our members about the importance of advocacy and MARPAC investment, Mississippi was recognized as Most Improved State in Participation, 3rd in Participation of all US states and terri- tories, and a 3-yr recipient of the coveted President’s Cup. Our members con- sistently receive appointments to major RPAC committees, are invited to sit on national panels, and currently rank 5th in the nation for our 33% response to the Patent Troll Abuse Call for Action. As a result of our national standing,
