This weekend is a perfect opportunity for your family to reconnect with your student while exploring Valpo’s campus and all it has to offer. The weekend is about three things — Valpo, family, and fun for all! Visit valpo.edu/familyweekend for further details, including a list of area hotels. Students are welcome to attend all activities — be sure to include their information on the registration form. Registration deadline is Friday, Oct. 9. University Programming Council will provide free popcorn. 8 p.m. FALL THEATRE PRODUCTION: “GODSPELL” BY JOHN MICHAEL TEBELAK Center for the Arts, University Theatre A small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques, and hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs ranging in style from pop to vaudeville are employed as the story of Jesus’ life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus’ messages of kindness, tolerance, and love come vibrantly to life. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for senior citizens and non-Valpo students, and free to Valpo students, faculty, and staff.
