SMM21 Awards A Virtual Spring Media Monday 2021 Awards April 26, 2021 A few quick notes ØIn some instances for individual awards where there were limited entries, judges combined across divisions or categories, or across the two contests: Previously Published or On Deadline. ØFor time purposes, I will only read the first place winner, but second, third and honorable mentions will appear on each screen. OSM’s mission is to advocate for and provide education, training and assistance to scholastic media advisers and students across Oklahoma. PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED INDIVIDUAL CATEGORY CONTEST Contest description: This individual category contest, represents the best of students’ work published during the current academic year. Entries are populated from the monthly contest entries from August – February that earn either an Excellent or Superior ranking out of four possible rankings, which from highest to lowest are: Superior, Excellent, Distinguished Merit or Merit. Consider the “previously published” winners to be the best of the best of our monthly contests.
