Full Official Stage 1 Results and General Classification st 21 February 2018 THE STAGE REPORT Stage 1 Al Fahim km 189 START: Albanese, Caruso, Trusov, Planet and Skujins race clear since the very beginning. The peloton lets them go: at km Cavendish (Ddd) abandons the race as a consequence of a crash during the transfer. At km 10, t -Step Floors and Mitchelton-Scott riders take relays at the front of the peloton. At km 42, the gap is 3 32 . Average speed after one hour of racing: 48.400 km/h. At km 50, the peloton is down the road. Intermediate Sprint (Liwa km 55.0) Trusov claims the intermediate sprint ahead of Albanese, Caruso, Skujins and Planet; the peloton is lagging behind. FINISH (Madinat Zayed km 189) Kristoff claims the stage ahead of Guardini, Ewan, Viviani, McLay, Bonifazio, Bresciani and the others. Vi har hatt 7 senior ryttere gjennom sesongen som har kjørt inn flere gode resultater. Vi fortsatte også i 2016 med et sterkt juniorlag på landevei, som har kjørt inn mange gode resultater gjennom hele sesongen. Juniorlaget gjorde stor suksess i NM, med GULL på lagtempo og Iver som Norgesmester på tempo. Iver Knotten har deltatt både i EM og VM. Aldersbestemte klasser har også mange fine resultater gjennom sesongen, med høydepunktet fra UM hvor Elin Knotten tok gull i K13. Jeg vil rette en stor takk til trenere og støtteapparat for innsatsen gjennom hele sesongen! Vi har arrangert tur rittene Bagler runden og Dokka Rundt med gode resultat for klubben. Tønsberg 3 dagers ble gjennomført i tråd med planene, 4 etapper på 3 dager. Dette er et viktig arrangement vi kan være stolte av. En stor takk til Bjørn Erik Tuv og hans stab. CX Tønsberg ble gjennomført under snøvær i november. Styrets arbeid: Styrets arbeid har gjennom året vært å følge opp arrangement, sportslig utvikling og våre sponsorer.
