A limited amount of $47 local Sonoma tickets for standing room only will be available in person with locations announced soon. Special ticket packages including 3-day tickets and limo packages will also be available thru the website. The Sonoma Music Festival was born from the desire of BRCCE to change up its annual fall event formerly at B.R. Cohn Winery and move it closer to town for a more community event. The new Field of Dreams location not only puts the concert goer two blocks from Sonoma’s Plaza, it allows the festival the opportunity to grow and generate more proceeds for charity. This year’s beneficiaries include national and local veterans organizations including Fisher House and American Legion Post 489, the Redwood Food Bank, Bread and Roses and others to be announced. Over its 28-year history BRCCE has raised over 6.5 million dollars for charity. “This is a very impressive 3-day line-up” exclaimed Bruce Cohn. “Not only do we get to finally present a Beatle, but all of these great acts are a perfect fit for Sonoma and wine country. Come up to stay, shop and enjoy this great music filled fundraising weekend.” Hailed as one of the "most important bands in music since the dawn of the rock and roll era" by former President Bill Clinton, the legendary rock and roll band with horns, Chicago, came in at #13, the highest charting American band in Billboard Magazine's list of Top 100 artists of all time. And Chicago is the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six decades. Lifetime achievements include a Grammy Award, multiple American Music Awards, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a Chicago street dedicated in their honor, and keys to and proclamations from an impressive list of US cities. Record sales top the 100,000,000 mark, and include 21 Top 10 singles, 5 consecutive Number One albums, 11 Number One singles and 5 Gold singles. An incredible 25 of their 36 albums have been certified platinum, and the band has a total of 47 gold and platinum awards. As one of the two surviving Beatles, arguably rocks most popular bands ever, Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band brings a hit filled show to Sonoma. Not only does he cover popular Ringo Beatle numbers, but songs from his illustrious solo career as well. And if that’s not enough his All-Starr band includes Todd Rundgren, Steve Lukather from Toto, Gregg Rolie formerly lead singer of Santana, Richard Page, Gregg Bissonette and Warren Ham. This is one hit filled show. Formed in 1969 by Simmons, Johnston, founding drummer John Hartman, and bassist Dave Shogren, The Doobie Brothers made their mark with a run of punchy, melodic hits on Warner Bros. Records. They attained radio ubiquity in the late ‘70s, when the group’s expanded lineup was augmented by Michael McDonald, whose soaring lead vocals pushed the band to new commercial and critical heights. The band took a five year respite before regrouping in 1987 for a series of gigs benefiting veterans’ groups and children’s charities (ultimately raising over $3 million). Inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004, The Doobie Brothers have won four GRAMMY® Awards and sold more than 45 million records worldwide (including three multi-platinum, seven platinum, and 14 gold albums). Gregg Allman is one of rock's most acclaimed and beloved stars, possessing a distinctively soulful voice and singular songwriting ability that resonates through a musical career that spans nearly half a century. Gregg, along with the Allman Brothers Band, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame in 1995. At the 54th Annual Grammy Awards in 2012, the group was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. That same year, Allman's critically acclaimed tell-all memoir, My Cross to Bear, spent several weeks as a New York Times Bestseller. The Field of Dreams set-up, while different than the winery set-up, still allows in the BRCCE tradition, great sight lines and access no more than 150 feet from the stage. With the newly added night time headliners, video and projection screens will make sure you don’t miss a thing happening on stage. These are rain or shine shows. Plans call for the best music, food and wine Sonoma has to offer. Many of the regions finest purveyors are joining in, including Laugunitas Brewing, a pop-up HopMonk beer garden, high-end and popular restaurants and of course some of the best wine in California including B.R. Cohn and many others. There will be no in and out privileges. Because of the new location, visitors are only 45 minutes from San Francisco, and one hour from Sacramento. Locals are encouraged to walk, ride a bike or car-pool. VIP, motorcycle and bicycle parking near the venue will be available and there is plenty of parking surrounding the venue in Sonoma. Check in with the festival website for maps etc. Event sponsors and partners include: Sonnen BMW, the Lise Sonnen Fund, KFOG 104.5/99.7, 107.7 The Bone, KOIT 96.5, the River 97.7, The KRUSH 95.9, The Eagle, the City of Sonoma, Lagunitas Brewery, Ramekins, HopMonk Tavern, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Sonoma County Tourism, Sonoma Index-Tribune, Sonoma Chevrolet, The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, The Flamingo Conference and Resort, the County of Sonoma and American Storage/Global Containers. # # # # Media contacts: Michael Coats (707-935-6203 or [email protected] or Allison Coats (707) 363-6508 or [email protected] .

  • STEVE LUKATHER Transition (Rock FM / AOR / Westcoast)

Designed and built in-house by our staff of engineers, this robotic “Drum Machine,” called the Gluing Gantry, ensures that every Evans head has a true collar. A series of vacuum fixtures holds the film in place for each head while the robotic gluing arm circles above the hoop and dispenses epoxy. The result is a drumhead that tunes both easily and consistently. At Evans, we do it right the first time. And every time. And experience tells us that there are no shortcuts when it comes to making a stick. There is, however a very good short- cut when choosing one. The journey from wooden dowel to finished drumstick is a tough one. Each stick makes its way through the hands of several craftsmen before it leaves us. And at every test, there’s always the chance of getting turned into firewood. But it does get easier when our sticks reach the store. As individuals, the band members’ imprint can be heard on an astonishing 5000 albums that together amass a sales history of a HALF A BILLION albums. Amongst these recordings, NARAS applauded the performances with 225 Grammy nominations. Band members were South Park characters, while Family Guy did an entire episode on the band's hit "Africa." As a band, TOTO sold 35 million albums, and today continue to be a worldwide arena draw staging standing room only events across the globe. They are pop culture, and are one of the few 70s bands that have endured the changing trends and styles, and 35 years in to a career enjoy a multi-generational fan base. It is not an exaggeration to estimate that 95% of the world's population has heard a performance by a member of TOTO. The list of those they individually collaborated with reads like a who's who of Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, alongside the biggest names in music. The band took a page from their heroes The Beatles playbook and created a collective that features multiple singers, songwriters, producers, and multi-instrumentalists. Guitarist Steve Lukather aka Luke has performed on 2000 albums, with artists across the musical spectrum that include Michael Jackson, Roger Waters, Miles Davis, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Rod Stewart, Jeff Beck, Don Henley, Alice Cooper, Cheap Trick and many more. • Lukather Joins Forces with ISP Technologies.Docx
Lukather Joins forces with ISP Technologies/Waller Amplification The 2004 Winter NAMM brought great things for ISP Technologies this year. The biggest news from NAMM was the fact that versatile musician, guitarist, vocalist, composer, producer and arranger Steve Lukather decided to get on board with our Vector Active Cabinet™ line. “We are so excited to have Luke come on board,” said ISP CEO Buck Waller, “we fell out of touch for a few years and when we reconnected it was great.” Waller explains that Luke had come up with the original concept for using a subwoofer with a guitar amp, like our Vector cabinet, and because of this, what better combination to promote the concept than to get Luke involved. “Luke is an amazing guitarist, and someone whose playing I have looked up to for years. His Toto stuff is absolutely incredible and all the session work he’s done, Grammy wins…I was truly honored that he would CONSIDER supporting the ISP line.” One of the reasons Lukather was so high on the Vector Active cabinet is that it is high on innovation, incorporating novel Line Array geometry and the patent pending D-CAT™ Dynamic Current Amplifier Technology powering a 400- watt, 4-inch voice coil, 15” woofer. “Just like the old days when Buck had new technology at every show for his old company”, says Lukather. With two 12” guitar speakers in vertical Line Array geometry, ISP solves the problem of horizontal dispersion. A typical 4x12 guitar cabinet delivers poor bass response but the high frequency response also beams like a flashlight.
