The Foundation Stone of SGPGllaid by the then Hon'ble Chief Minister of U.P. inaugurating the New President H.E. Neelam Sanjeev Reddy in 1980 put Emergency Receiving Station up at the entrance of Administrative Block n the home front, work has already started on the hither-to unused 300 acres of Institute land. The Oboundary wall and new residential complexes are under construction. The telemedicine center, new diagnostic block and advanced paediatric center are nearing completion. The civil engineering and horticulture departments of the Institute have done a commendable work during the yesteryear. The continuous problem of "Traffic Congestion" in front of OPD on the main road was a cause of worry. A number of options were discussed and finally, it was decided that a approx. 30 mt. wide road (painted 21 mt.) should be made along the main OPD road on the eastern side of OPD plaza, provide two connecting roads (wide enough) between the old road and new road and reshaping the plaza on eastern side so that both the side look alike. Accordingly work has been taken up in May 05 and is regularly supervised and evaluated by members of CDC & Director for timely completion & quality work.

An Olympic size football ground has been created out of barren land lying unused behind the old Type II A houses. This ground has been provided with seating wall all around, so that people viewing the football matches could see, it properly. This ground is presently being used by the residents of the campus and their children.

2 The irrigation department has transferred 5353 mt. land across the road to the Institute. The Institute proposed to construct the trauma centre on this piece of land. Since the area is prone to encroachment, therefore the boundary wall is proposed to be constructed on this plot of land. The construction of front RCC wall has started in June 05.
