How can you justify the Liberal Party's argument for higher pay for one of the highest paid people in the parliament? The buildings overlook Kangaroo Bay on the River Derwent and the Bellerive marina. Description: Hotel: The former Clarence Hotel is a two-storey rendered sandstone building with hipped roof and exposed sandstone quoins. The main façade of the hotel has three bays, the outer two defined by sandstone quoins with a recessed central bay. The building has double-hung windows with rendered architraves. There is an addition to the south-east elevation, potentially a shop front, added in 1951. Other alterations include the relocation of the main door to the eastern bay and the removal of chimneys. -

It is almost entirely Huon Pine and was built as a comfortable boat for his family. It is a typical english 4 tonne 1960’s design as a Twister class which had a very successful racing record. There are not many of this class in Australia and she has been recognised as a Twister by travelling Englishmen. The Holman and Pye design evolved as a larger version of the Danish folk boat design. We would love to continue her tradition of attending every wooden boat festival.
