Lipids (fats, oils, waxes, vitamins, hormones) are essential to an animal’s existence. Spirotetramat is effective against juvenile stages (like a growth hormone), but can reduce adult fecundity and fertility. Death also occurs because mealybugs will have their energy transport system disrupted and should cease movement.
