Mr. Deitrick died July 14, 1974, and additional papers were willed to f NC Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. In November, 1974, and July, 1975, these papers were given to the State Archives. In this acquisit are five boxes (P.C. 1487.19-.23) of business correspondence generated durin Mr. Deitrick's association with John A. Park, Jr., an intermediary for busin mergers and sales; these five boxes are RESTRICTED until five years after Mr. Park's death.     GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF NORTH CAROLINA SESSION 2009 SESSION LAW 2010-31 SENATE BILL 897 AN ACT TO MODIFY THE CURRENT OPERATIONS AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS APPROPRIATIONS ACT OF 2009 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: PART I. INTRODUCTION AND TITLE OF ACT TITLE OF ACT SECTION 1.1. This act shall be known as "The Current Operations and Capital Improvements Appropriations Act of 2010." INTRODUCTION SECTION 1.2. The appropriations made in this act are for maximum amounts necessary to provide the services and accomplish the purposes described in the budget. Savings shall be effected where the total amounts appropriated are not required to perform these services and accomplish these purposes and, except as allowed by the State Budget Act, or this act, the savings shall revert to the appropriate fund at the end of each fiscal year as provided in G.S. 143C-1-2(b). PART II. CURRENT OPERATIONS AND EXPANSION GENERAL FUND CURRENT OPERATIONS AND EXPANSION/GENERAL FUND SECTION 2.1. Chair’s Comments • Ms. Gill congratulated Principal of the Year, Matt Wight, principal at Apex High School and the WCPSS 2008 Assistant Principal of the Year, Shejuanna Rodgers, assistant principal of Apex Middle School. Ms. Gill thanked all of the principals and assistant principals for their hard work and dedication they give to the schools and students of Wake County. • On October 16, the ribbon-cutting for Lynn Road Elementary School was held. Ms. Gill provided a welcome from the Board of Education and Ms. Clark was in attendance. • On Friday, October 17, Ms. Gill attended the dedication of the Shaw University Center for Early Childhood Education, Development and Research. • On October 9, Ms. Gill attended the Freedom Fund Banquet sponsored by the State NAACP. • Ms. Gill shared that over the past month the Board has met with mayors and municipality boards. Meetings were held on September 22 with the Towns of Knightdale, Zebulon, and Raleigh, September 25 with the Towns of Apex, Morrisville, Holly Springs, and Fuquay-Varina, September 30, with the Towns of Wake Forest, Rolesville, and Wendell, and October 14, with the Towns of Cary and Garner.
