DU Retirees Partners With PALs

Ruth Prochnow McWhorter is representing the DU Retirees Association at the PALs Team Leaders Meetings this year to explore opportunities for retirees to attend PALs events. The Pioneer Alumni Legends (PALs) is a group of proud University of Alumni whose school spirit has grown stronger in the 50 or more years since their graduation. PALs sup- ports DU by attending athletic, performing arts, and community service Happy PALs Members events, lifelong learning opportunities at faculty lectures and symposi- ums, and a variety of other social activities during the year. The group is lead by Nancy Clark, Associate Director of Alumni Engagement. The DU Retiree Board discussed the schedule of PALs events planned for the 2017-2018 academic year, and will continue to explore retirees’ par- ticipation in PALs events. More to come!
