3rd CENTRAL CITY SHOWCASE COLLEGE TRYOUT

Purpose- To allow softball players (9th-12th) graders from LA, MS, AR, TN, AL, & FL the opportunity to play in front of college coaches and show their skills.*(note- catchers need own gear)

FORMAT- The format will be a game format with players placed on teams that will allow them to play 6-18 innings at primary position for a total of (3) 6-inning games. Pitchers will throw a minimum of 6 innings. Each player will bat every game. The teams will be coached by college coaches & players. In (‘07&‘08) the event has had over 200 players and 18 colleges at the event. We are closing the event to 112 players!
