Please follow these hair, makeup, and costume instructions. 1. All hair and makeup must be done at home (with the exception of those actors who will be having their hair and makeup done at school for them). 2. Dahdu Rahn Rahn Attendants (female) must have their hair in a high 1950’s pony tail. 3. Harem Girls must have their hair in a pony tail on top of their head, slightly off center. 4. All other girls must have their hair in a low pony tail, braid, or bun – all hair off the face. Please use gel and/or spray to keep hair pulled tightly off the face and prevent fly-away hair from falling onto the face during the show. 5. The following characters will have their makeup done for them at school: Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie, Jafar, Iago, Sultan, Razoul 6. All other characters must do their own makeup at home. You can buy inexpensive makeup at CVS. Please follow these instructions: a. Harem Girls – neutral/pinkish blush, plum or burgundy lipstick (not red), soft eye shadow, eye liner (can be a little dark), mascara b. All other girls – neutral/pinkish blush, neutral lipstick, soft eye shadow and liner, light mascara c. Boys - neutral blush, neutral lipstick (plum-ish color, no pinks or reds) 7. The actors have all been told what they require for their costumes. Please ask your child what items he or she requires from home (i.e. tights, leggings, shorts for under robes, etc). No one will be permitted on stage without their proper footwear. No sneakers, uggs, etc. will be permitted on stage. Also, we spoke with the actors about having proper colored socks. Please check with your child.
