Information to consider in your descriptions:  How might the student’s culture, native language and economic status affect your instruction?  How might the student’s age, development level and gender affect your instruction?  How might the student’s learning styles, interests and learning strengths affect your instruction?

1. Whitni – high group  inferential reader  verbally articulate  struggles with demonstrating comprehension in written form

2. DeShawn – middle group  resistant to change  when given focus questions can demonstrate inferential thinking  requires prompts to synthesize understanding
