1. What is 5-fold ministry?

Answer: 5 offices/identities/gifts associated with an individual that are designed to mature them to the identity of Christ which is given by godly assignment (Ephesians 4:11-12). Basically, they are the full totality of the identity of Christ hidden within each of us. The offices are recognized as primarily gifts due to the fact that we do not know what a gift is until it is revealed to us after it has been received.

2. What are the 5-fold offices/gifts?

Answer: Apostle (Apostolos): messenger, ambassador, one who is sent to send Prophet (Prophetes): oracle or interpreter of hidden things Evangelist (Euaggelistes): bringer of good tidings (testimonies) Pastor (Poimen): shepherd, manager of an assembly, overseer Teacher (Didaskalos): teacher, instructor (Ephesians 4:11).

3. Why is the purpose of 5-fold ministry in the life of a believer?

Answer: -To perfect/mature the saints (those in a pure relationship with the LORD) (Ephesians 4:12). -To be occupied with as well as operate in ministry (serving) (Ephesians 4:12). -To edify/build up the body (Soma: body that is living) of Christ (Ephesians 4:12). -To unify the entire body of Christ to one faith/conviction (Ephesians 4:13). -To receive knowledge(Epignosis: recognition) of the Son of GOD (Ephesians 4:13).

4. How long will 5-fold be expected to exist in one’s life?

Answer: -Until one becomes perfect/mature in the LORD (Ephesians 4:13). -Until a measure (right quantity) of time (living) is achieved to be filled with Christ (the anointed one or the anointing). Note: when one is filled, it means for one to be satisfied. -Until we are no longer children (Nepios: infants) (Ephesians 4:14). -Until we are not carried away with every form of doctrine (Ephesians4:14). Understand that the ultimate goal for 5-fold is to develop an individual to see themselves as the son/daughter of God (Christ-like). Gifts/offices were not intended for fame,

1 fortune or some form of notoriety or reputation before the world. See Christ’s example in Philippians 2:7.

5. What doctrine is the foundation for 5-fold ministry?

Answer: Apostolic doctrine is the foundation however, understand that the Apostolic is not a denomination. The Apostolic is a mantling/gift that is bestowed upon an individual or individuals (Acts 2:42).

6. Can everyone receive 5-fold ministry?

Answer: Yes, because it defines the grace (Charis: define influence) that GOD places on our individual lives but it is given to us by measure when we receive Christ (Ephesians 4:7).

7. What are the effects of 5-fold ministry on an individual?

Answer: It will cause one to speak truth in love (godliness) and resulting in them growing up in GOD in all areas of their life (Ephesians 4:15). It will cause one’s framework (life’s foundation) in Him to be put together properly (Ephesians 4:16). It will cause one to be effective or make an impact on others as they work their godly gifts in ministry (Ephesians 4:16). It will cause one to edify or build the body of Christ up as well as themselves up in HIM (Ephesians 4:16).

8. What is the impact of not understanding or walking in 5-fold ministry?

Answer: One will not be able to see, understand, receive or operate in the eternal life GOD has offered to them. This place of ignorance (Agnoia: lack of knowledge) is a result of one’s thought being blinded (Porosis: polluted or dulled) to seeing themselves this way (Ephesians 4:18). In most instances, the blinding has been a result of how an individual has been taught to see themselves more so than the assumption they develop of their identity given by reading the word of GOD and developing a relationship with HIM to have this identity revealed to them through the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:14, 19).
