DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The Director of Information Technology Operations for Manufacturing is accountable for leading and directing all business relationship and IT program management in support of the Operations and Manufacturing functions. The Director will provide effective business and demand leadership over IT initiatives. The successful candidate must bring the voice of Operations and Manufacturing to IT while leading the development of innovative, fact-based and achievable IT strategies and operating models.

This role requires previous experience automating existing manual IT manufacturing processes and migrating legacy systems/platforms to the new, agreed upon automated systems/platforms. This adaptability may be the most important trait for the role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Must be versed in current technology including AS400, X86, ERP applications, as well as ITIL Certification or Six Sigma Certification (green belt or black belt)  7 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing IT environment is required.  Establish a strong relationship with Operations and Manufacturing executive, business, & functional leaders.  Position IT Client Services as a strategic partner.

 Must be versed in current technology including AS400, X86, ERP applications, as well as ITIL Certification or Six Sigma Certification (green belt or black belt)  7 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing IT environment is required.  Establish a strong relationship with Operations and Manufacturing executive, business, & functional leaders.  Position IT Client Services as a strategic partner.  Continually develop an overall strategy and approach for establishing a consolidated Enterprise IT governance and demand management model focused on the effective and efficient provision of IT products and services.  Develop policies, guidelines and methods that inform and guide the direction for overall business IT demand generation, evaluation, prioritization and funding.  Lead and develop a high performing Business Relationship, Business Analysis, and Project Management team at all levels that is customer service oriented, shows a bias for responsiveness and performance and is results focused whether sourced from within the company or externally  Lead and manage the partnership/supplier relationships within the IT Client Services organization to maintain performance against predetermined service performance metrics  Implement new programs which meet or exceed operational expectations to deliver quality, reliability and flexibility; reduce costs and value added.  Lead and manage an effective, collaborative team that delivers a balanced approach between structure, discipline and flexibility in their procedures in the guidance of the IT area.  Provide effective change leadership while driving continuous improvement and innovation to achieve higher return on investment of deployed IT solutions, lower total cost of ownership and provide measurable productivity results from identified improvement initiatives  Develop and report IT operational readiness and performance through a comprehensive IT operations scorecard and responses to inquiries concerning IT Operations status reporting

QUALIFICATIONS: 4 Year College Degree/Certifications 7 – 10 years of experience Proven accomplishments in the IT Field
