Jefferson Health Plan (Formerly known as OME-RESA) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Meetings FOR MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS

Employee Assistance Program: ValueOptions, a national company providing EAP benefits and services located in Wixom, Michigan has been hired by the consortium to assume Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services for the Jefferson Health Plan. As a new vendor partner for the consortium, ValueOptions staff will be making presentations to introduce and explain the new benefits and services on June 11 for member organization administrators and August 15 for member organization support staff. The Employee Assistance Program services are designed to improve and/or maintain the productivity and healthy function of employees in the workplace. ValueOptions will assist both employees and supervisory staff in handling short term issues and crises, and will provide telephonic and face-to-face counseling services. The ValueOptions staff will be covering the following services during their presentation:

 EAP Counseling sessions for employees

 Outlet services for member organization supervisors

 Support for employees both inside and outside of work on the following issues: - Financial/Legal issues - Marital/Family issues - Substance Abuse - Workforce performance - Major life events - Emotional distress - Work-Life balance resources and assistance

 On-Site Crisis Intervention services - On-site counselors in time of crisis management - Support and de-briefing services for supervisors and employees

Who should attend: Administrators in a leadership role with their member organization are encouraged to attend the Administrators meeting on June 11. Support staff personnel are encouraged to attend the August 15 presentation.
