Job Description Motivated E.I. or P.E. with 2-6 years of design experience to support roadway design engineers with a respected boutique firm in Winter Park, FL. Candidate will be responsible for preparing preliminary and final design documents for small and large scale transportation projects. Competitive compensation and benefits package.

The Transportation Design Engineer position will be responsible for preparing geometric layouts, profiles, cross sections, pavement designs, calculations, reports, cost estimates, and preparing roadway, signing and pavement marking plans for various roadway improvement projects. Qualifications Minimum Requirements:  Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering degree from an accredited curriculum with an interest/emphasis in transportation/highway engineering  EI or PE with 2-6 years of transportation engineering experience  Minimum of 2 years of experience in roadway design and plans production  Self-starters with strong oral and written communication skills  Hands-on experience with Microstation and Geopak Preferred Qualifications:  FDOT design experience  Drainage design experience  AutoCAD Civil 3D experience  Master’s degree
