1 VILLAGE BOARD MEETING

Village of Waddington, Monday March 07, 2016

A regular meeting of the Village Board of Waddington, County of St. Lawrence, State of New York was held on Monday March 07, 2016 at 6:00 pm in the Municipal Building, 48 Maple Street.

Call to order: Mayor Cassada called the regular meeting to order at 6:00 pm

Present were: Mayor Cassada Deputy Mayor Miller Trustee Fairchild Village Clerk, Cheryl D. Dumas Absent: Trustee Bogart

Also present were, Shirley Robinson, Ken Graves, David McBath, Julie McBath, Mike LeClair, Dave Weitz, Jim Armstrong, Richard Lenz, Patti Van Patten, Shaun Prentice, Mark Scott, and Bill Dashnaw.

Appointment Mayor Cassada appointed Matt Mayette to fill the vacated Trustee seat of Darin Greene

Approval of Minutes Minutes will be read upon request only; a motion was made by Trustee Fairchild to accept the minutes, seconded by Trustee Miller. All in favor: Ayes Nays: None

Historian Report None

DPW: The computer for the sewer plant no longer works. Three quotes were given to the board, a motion was made by Trustee Fairchild to accept the low bidder Clear Data Solutions at $1080.00, seconded by Trustee Miller. All in favor: Ayes Nays: None

McBath

A motion was made by Trustee Miller, seconded by Trustee Mayette Ayes all 2

Fire Department The officers from the Fire Department came to thank the board for the new fire truck. The doors will be installed starting on Wednesday. The department needs to have 3-4 heaters replaced as they can no longer get parts for repair.

Citizens Comments Mark Scott told the board the Waddington Recorder would be coming out June 1st and the deadline for entries is May 16th. He also questioned the amount of parking space that would be lost. Patti Van Patten asked if a walkway could be added into the park on the south end of the tennis court. Mayor Cassada said she would have to ask the NYPA. Sean Prentice asked if the website for the boat race was up and running. Mayor Cassada stated that it should be up and running in the next day or so.

Budget Bill Dashnaw presented a tentative budget to the board. He went over the budget line by line with the Trustee’s. He asked them to review and get back to him with any changes.

Audit of Claims: A motion was made by Trustee Fairchild, seconded by Trustee Mayette to pay the bills: Vouchers No. $

Adjournment: A motion was made by Trustee Miller, to adjourn at 8:05 P.M.
