2 Teacher-Graded Activities

Write or record a response for each of the following activities. Check the Evaluation section at the end of this document to make sure you have met the expected criteria for the assignment. When you have finished, submit your work to your teacher.

3. Parler et écouter (Audio Recorder Activity) Use the adjectives that you learned and record at least five sentences about yourself, describing your physical appearance and personality traits. Use any audio recorder available on your computer. Submit that audio file to your teacher via the drop box.

You can record sentences like the ones below: J’ai les yeux bleus. Je suis sportive. J’aime jouer au football.

4. Lire et écrire Read this excerpt from Adele’s blog, in which she talks about herself, her friend Corinne, and their daily routines.

Je vais au Lycée International de Saint Michel à Nice. Je prends un bus pour y aller. J’ar- rive au lycée vers 8 heures. Je mets toutes mes affaires dans mon sac à dos. Les cours commencent à huit heures et demie. J’ai choisi d’étudier la littérature, les mathématiques, les sciences et les arts plastiques. J’apprends aussi à faire du judo. Tous les professeurs sont sympas et encourageants. Dans mon lycée, il y a des étudiants de toutes national- ités. Tous mes nouveaux amis sont intéressants et amusants. Le weekend on n’a pas de cours. On va normalement au centre commercial. Moi et mes amis, on y passe beaucoup de temps. Je suis très heureuse de mon séjour en France.

Mon amie Corinne vient au lycée avec moi en bus. Nous vivons dans le même quartier. Elle se réveille très tôt le matin. Elle fais une heure de jogging. Elle est sportive. Elle étudie les sciences, l’histoire et la musique. Elle joue très bien la flûte. Elle fait aussi de la gymnastique. Elle est vive et amusante. Elle adore faire du camping. Elle va partir en Angleterre pour passer les vacances de Pâques chez ses cousins. Elle va rapporter des cadeaux pour nous. Elle me l’a promis!
