St. Eugene Catholic School PTO Minutes July 2017

The meeting was called to order by Liz Metz at 6:00 pm on July 18, 2017 in the School Library.

*Executive Board* Approval of Minutes No Minutes to approve President’s Report The Fun Run was discussed at length. T-shirt design and cost ($15 per) were approved. Games and Activities were discussed and agreed upon with each grade being assigned an activity. We will sell wristbands for$20 each or $15 at registration night. Dads club will cook the hot dogs. It was decided that we would not provide sno cones/ice cream. The 8th grade class was offered the chance to sell drinks for a fund raiser for their class.

Registration night will be August 7th 4:30 – 6:30

Principal’s Report None this month Treasurer’s Report No Report this first month Vice President Report Melissa reported on the status on fundraising and sponsorships for the fun run. A free dress day will be given to those who come to the fun run. *Appointed Chairs* *******NO REPORTS GIVEN DUE TO FUN RUN PLANNING ******** Community Kristy Simmons came to talk to PTO about the Gala. The Date is October Outreach/Fundraising 21. She welcomes any help and encouragement we can give them. A brief discussion was had about ideas for the proceeds. PTO members were encouraged to follow the Gala Facebook page and help spread the word. Hospitality
