Registrar

Jacki Ainsworth APPLYING TO UNIVERSITIES

When applying to a two or four-year school, most colleges require applications to be completed on online. There is an application fee and students will need to use a debit or credit card to pay the application processing fee. Application fees will vary among schools. Some applications have a section to be completed by a counselor to verify test scores, class rank and/or grade point average. After the application is submitted you must complete a “Transcript Request Form” to have an official transcript mailed to the designated school. Transcript Request Forms are located in the Guidance Resource Room. Please turn in all Transcript Request Forms to Ms. Ainsworth in registrar. This process takes several days, so keep this in mind when submitting applications close to deadlines.

LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION

Students who need a letter of recommendation to be included with an application should complete a “Letter of Recommendation Request Form”, which is located in the Central Guidance Resource Room. These forms should be given to the faculty member at least 1-2 weeks prior to the mailing of the application.
