Back pain is one of the most common complaints in Germany and Western Europe – particularly among those workers who spend much of their time sitting. In the process, they integrate their knowledge from other specialist disciplines such as facility management, acoustics, ergonomics, industrial sciences, architecture and design.

Their most recent creation is "InTouch", an innovative swivel chair designed by the renowned designer Martin Ballendat which remains "in touch", i.e. in contact, with your body. All parts of the chair are anatomically and harmoniously formed. Its lines taper radially, resulting in a balanced appearance. A perfect synthesis of ergonomics and design, it has already won two awards - the "red dot" seal for design quality in 2011 and the coveted "iF product design award 2012".

Even pressure distribution

At the heart of this mobilising chair is a flexible, elastic backrest which wraps around your entire back and can move backwards and to both sides at the same time. The seat is divided into three sections and adapts individually to your body throughout the movement process. Dauphin’s patented Syncro-Dynamic mechanism controls the seat and backrest in such a way that they maintain contact with your body at all times. As a result, they provide optimum, tailored support for your body with even pressure distribution however you choose to sit.
