4.1 How to Install The AMC portal is used to install provision and license AMC v2.0 http://amc.aastra.com/portal For further instructions, please see the administrator and user guides.

a For BlackBerry installation, if a BlackBerry Enterprise server (BES) is used it is strongly recommended to use it to deploy the AMC client. This will limit the number of questions the end user will get at installation/update of the AMC client.

b The optional feature Mobile LCR requires MX-ONE Manager Telephony System to run in a secure HTTPS mode. This requires a signed certificate form an authorized certified provider. The dedicated port that is used by the AMC server is 9443.

5 Observations

a The https callback function does not work together with the MX-ONE feature “Dual forking”. Use the Parallel ringing feature instead.

b The Mobile LCR features require data connection. The AMC application is dependent on the mobile phone settings to work e.g. APN needs to be set. For Symbian series 60 3rd edition the Access Point for internet access needs to put on the top of the list of APs in the AMC AP view.

c MX-ONE Telephony System needs to be programmed to handle numbers in international format; this is not explicitly described in the AMC documentation. It is described in MX-ONE O&M documentation e.g. Mobile extension planning (25/1551- ASP 11301).DESCRI

d Dialing formats tested are; international (+4684220214) and local (PBX internal) number formats.
