Stud Fee for Five Kings HsH: $1,000.00 USD (Includes booking and a 2 year Live Foal Guarantee). ** Please note that collection/semen processing, disposable shipping container and/or equitainer rental, and shipping are all separate fees. **Reduced fees may not qualify for LFG. If a LFG is honored based on section 2, page 2 of this contract, the only payment due is all related collection fees and semen shipment to your mare. The collection agent will collect all related shipping info (Fed Ex Account) and credit card for processing. Please make sure to document on this contract if your payment is eligible for a LFG. 1. The semen will be shipped fresh chilled in a shipping container provided by collection agent and must be returned within 5 days if a non-disposable (equitainer), if shipped to veterinarian, please make sure to ship back, or ALL the container fees will be on the buyer. Disposable shipping containers are one way shipping and economical way to ship semen even cross country, but may not always be an option due to container availability the selected collection agent has on hand at collection time. 2. This contract is for live foal guarantee (per agreed price), LFG (foal is standing and nursing at 12 hours) with a return for the following breeding season and or the next consecutive year (sometimes mares cannot be bred the next year, the 2 year LFG allows more time to breed back). A report from the veterinarian is due no later than December 1st of each Breeding Season on whether the mare is or is not in foal. A veterinarian must inseminate the mare to qualify for LFG and a signed contract. A veterinarian must also evaluate the mare as breeding sound with clean culture/biopsy results. This report must be sent to Julia Bartel at Haven Sporthorses to ensure the Live Foal Guarantee and a return breeding can be honored. A veterinarian report is due of the cause of death within 48 hours of examination (applies to miscarriages and mare absorption). The LFG cannot be transferred or sold if breeding is used. Breed contests/donations/auctions held by Julia Bartel or a HsH representative do not qualify for a LFG (unless agreed otherwise) and are usually a onetime collection. 3. Second Shipment (for LFG honored only, section 2) approximately (~$400.00 USD), (~$300 if no shipping) is due before collection and shipment. Payment can vary with collection agents and payments are made directly to the collection agent. 4. A nonrefundable booking fee of $250 (check made out to Julia Bartel) is due with the signing of this contract. This fee is included in the stallion stud fee. The contract, client information sheet, and booking fee are all due to book your mare. Once paid, your mare will be put on the breeding schedule which guarantees shipped semen or your money back. If you are breeding within 2 weeks or sooner, the full amount must be sent with the signing of this contract. 5. The full stallion stud fee must be received before any semen is collected and shipped. 6. A Federal Express account is recommended for easy shipping and payment. An account is free and easy to set up on their website. 7. The equitainer, is used (your own or a rental) must be returned by you or the vet clinic immediately *Agreements will be made with the selected collection agents on equitainer rentals. Personal equitainters can be used if shipped and received in time of collection. 8. Several mares maybe inseminated at no additional costs from a breeding collection (if extra foals will be registered, $100 per extra foal is due for a breeding certificate), however, only one mare can qualify for the LFG unless each mare has paid a stud fee. The mare picked for the LFG must be noted before semen is shipped. This has been very successful and cost effective for breeders breeding mares on the same cycle.

EMBRYO TRANSFER:

9. When using a mare for embryo transfer, if more than one embryo is harvested, an additional stud fee is due to Julia Bartel at Haven Sporthorses for each individual successful pregnancy.

COLLECTION SCHEDULE:

10. Semen is planned to be collected every day but Sunday, Feb-Aug for Fresh and Frozen year round upon availability. The Buyer must contact Julia Bartel at Haven Sporthorses at least 2-3 days before semen is needed to guarantee on time collection and shipment. The Buyer or veterinarian should keep Julia Bartel at Haven Sporthorses informed of the progress of the heat cycle of their mare. The Buyer will insure that the mare is in sound breeding condition, or they will not fall under section 2 for a LFG or section 3, second shipment at $400.

ASSIGNMENT:

11. This Contract may not be transferred to another Buyer unless the original Mare is sold confirmed in foal to Five Kings

12. The terms of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any court proceedings stemming from this contract shall be held in the state of Florida, Gainesville city.

Breach Either party may nullify this Agreement if the other party breaches a material term of this Agreement. The wronged party may recover attorney fees and court costs. Executed this ____ day of ______2017.
