Results will be submitted by team captains online, allowing your players to see up to date league tables, match results and their own player statistics. Results are then transferred weekly to the LTA for ratings purposes.
A scorecard must also be posted to Margaret French.
Before the season begins: Check that all your players are British Tennis Members, they can sign up at www.lta.org.uk/membership Check that all your players have their British Tennis Membership linked to your club – this will normally happen when they signed up but to help the submission process you should check by getting a full BTM list from your club main contact with the LTA (they can access this through their LTA login). Club to decide who will be submitting online results – individual team captains or one main contact. All submitters to be informed of the clubs login details.
At the match: Home teams to provide the official scorecard. Both teams to have a copy which should be retained by both clubs to help in the event of any disputes.. Both scorecards should be completed with the home team keeping the original card and the away team the copy. Ensure BOTH scorecards are signed by each captain.
After the match: The HOME team captain to submit result online within 48 hours of the match by visiting this website: http://lta.tournamentsoftware.com/member/login.aspx. There is an option to ‘confirm’ the result. It is the away team captain’s responsibility to confirm the result. The home team captain should not confirm the result otherwise it defeats the purpose of it’s function. Scorecard to be photographed/scanned and e-mailed/posted to Margaret French which must be received by the Friday after the match. The away team captain to check and confirm the result online.
Your login details remain the same as last years. If you do not have a login and /or password please contact Margaret French.
The login/password is unique to your club. Do not change the password as this will prevent other people at your club from submitting results. If you forget your password please contact Margaret French who should be able to supply it.
Home team captain follow the steps below: 1. Go to website - http://lta.tournamentsoftware.com/member/login.aspx
2. Type in your Login name and Password and click ‘Login’
3. Click on your club name next to the relevant league.
4. Click on the ‘Matches’ tab under your club name.
5. Click on ‘Modify’ next to the relevant match.
6. Click ‘Enter rubber results’.
7. Read the instructions in the box carefully and enter the players and the results. If your player is not showing in the drop down box, then click ‘add player’, start typing players name – this will search through all players in your club BTM list – add players to your list. Once you are happy with the results click ‘Verify’.
Away team captain follow the steps below:
1. Go to website - http://lta.tournamentsoftware.com/. Using the draws tab, find the match and check the result has been entered correctly. 2. Follow the process above in the Home Team captain instructions to log in and click ‘Confirm’ if the result is correct (if you need to make alterations please click modify).
3. If you need to challenge the result you should email Margaret French within 5 days of the result being submitted.
FAQs:
Q: My password doesn’t work? A: Make sure you have typed the password correctly using case sensitive letters/ numbers. Please note the logins all begin with ‘lta’ (as in Lawn Tennis Association).
Q: A player is not showing on the ‘add player’ function? A: Make sure you try all possible spellings of a name – in case it has been written incorrectly on the scorecard or it has been abbreviated. If you still can’t find the name then submit ‘Unknown player’ – continue to submit all results and once verified ‘Add Comment’ – here you should enter in which team and position the player played (e.g. Graves Player 4) followed by their name and BTM number.
Q: I don’t have a computer? A: Results must be submitted by the home team within 48 hours of a match. If the team captain doesn’t have internet access then another trusted member should be asked to submit on their behalf. You can submit from work, home, or public computer.
Q: Can I phone/email in my results? A: Results will not be taken over the phone or via email. This is to ensure no mistakes are made and to allow draws to be updated immediately. You can e-mail a copy of the scorecard.
