Annexe A to the application for admission to the final examination Dissertation delivery instructions.

Delivering the dissertation by 31 October 2015 for PhD programmes that began on 1 November, and by 31 December 2015 for PhD programmes that began on 1 January, the final year PhD student should deliver the following to the PhD Unit: - a paper copy of the dissertation (glue bound), signed by the Coordinator and by the Supervisor, and 2 copies of the same paper version on a digital support medium (DVD or CD-ROM in a single .pdf file); - declaration of conformity of the dissertation (with any requests for classification – embargo). This latter document should be an integral part (last sheet) of the dissertation both on paper and on the DVD or CD-ROM. Name and surname, the dissertation title and the PhD cycle should be written on the DVD or CD-ROMs in permanent marker pen. A smaller version of the dissertation cover page (12x12), which should be signed in the original version by the coordinator, the supervisor and the candidate (CD-ROMs or DVDs without the original signature and with cover pages different from the format specified shall not be accepted) should be inserted in the hard case. A copy of the dissertation (in paper format or another format according to the instructions given by the Coordinator) should be sent, by the final year PhD student, – at least 30 days before the dissertation is due to be discussed, to each member of the Examining Board in the format indicated by the programme Coordinator.

The date of the final examination and the composition of the Examining Board, with the relative addresses for sending the dissertation, will be published on the University website as soon as they are available. - Summary (abstract) of the dissertation in Italian, if the dissertation is being written in English or in another foreign language.
