Orleans Parish Permanency Infant and Preschool Program: Conduct extensive relationship-based evaluations to assess whether parental rights should be terminated or children ages 0-5 years should be reunited with their biological parents as part of a state funded multidisciplinary team. Conduct out-patient relationship-based family therapy with all available caregivers and their infants, individual therapy with the young children and their parents, psychological evaluations with the caregivers, and/or developmental evaluations with the children if needed. Provide court testimony as an expert witness as needed and supervise the trainees. Present to local child protection agency (OCS until July 2011, now is DCFS) staff on a variety of mental health topics. Stakeholder and provider to Zero to Three funded Court Team since 2007. Program coordinator since July 2002, Director since March 2004

Harris Infant Mental Health Program- Coordinator: Conduct out-patient family therapy with parents and their infants. Assist in the coordination and teaching of a weekly didactic seminar on infant mental health to a yearly group of fellows. Supervise trainees. Part of the Harris Professional Development Network since 2008.

LSUHSC: Child Coordinator of Predoctoral Psychology Internship Training: Coordinate and oversee the child training for the psychology pre-doctoral interns. July 1997- Duties: Victims Assistance Program (formerly named Violence Intervention June 30, 2012 Program for Children and Families): Conduct individual, group, and family therapy, and psychological evaluations for children and adults exposed to violence. Train the police to respond to violent incidents involving children and their families. Man a 24-hour hotline to respond to crisis situations involving violence. Present to colleagues and other professionals working with children and families on the impact of violence and how to adequately attend to the victims. Supervise student clinicians. Funded by Crime Victims Reparation money which requires quarterly reporting to the city of New Orleans. VAP participates yearly in the Cops for Kids Summer Program providing training for the children on social skills, anger management, etc. and mental health consultation to the families as needed 1999-2009. Director of program from 2004-2012.

October 2001- Child Psychological Consultant: Consult to the Clinical Evaluation Program October 2004 (CEP) which performed case management and oversight for the management of mental health concerns for the Louisiana state foster care system, the Office of Community Services (OCS).

Jan. - June Co-Director of training course in infant mental health: Create syllabus and 2005 training program in infant mental health along with Dr. Joy Osofsky for Early Childhood Supports and Services (ECSS) providers in the state of Nov. 2006- Louisiana. April 2007 Teach and supervise trainees. Provide reflective supervision to program directors June 2010- Sept. 2010.

2005 – June 2012 Head Start/Early Head Start Mental Health Consultation Program: Oversee the mental health consultation to Early/Head Start programs. In 2005-2007, staff consulted to the Regina Coeli Head Starts outside New Orleans servicing displaced New Orleanian families. Starting in 2007, staff provided abd 6/2/14 Dickson Page 4

consultation to all Orleans Parish Head Starts. Since 2010, the program has been funded by a grant from the Institute of Mental Hygiene. Responsible for the writing of grants, funding of the program, all collaboration with Head Start staff, organizing trainings for the Head Start staff, and supervising trainees who consult to the centers, as well as provide on-going consultation to the centers. Oversee collection of developmental screeners at the beginning of each year.

March 1996- THERAPIST, Community Psychiatric Center- Fort Lauderdale Hospital May 1997 Social Services Department, Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Duties: Facilitated daily group therapy for adolescent, adult, and geriatric in- patients and residential day patients at a psychiatric hospital. Patients presented with severe emotional disturbance and comprised the full spectrum of disorders. Completed initial assessments of patients, contributed to interdisciplinary treatment planning, and arranged for placement or aftercare for patients. Conducted individual and family therapy sessions, as well as process and educational psychotherapy groups. In charge of the adolescent unit and co-managed the social services department.
