LONG DISTANCE PLEASURE RIDE SUNDAY 23rd MARCH 2014

RENDLESHAM FOREST (Perfect sandy going in all weathers)

Starting from 10am – start when you like no formal start times – Last rider must leave by 12pm.

Ride time approx – 2 hours / 12 miles

The start of the ride will be from Tangham Outstation, Rendlesham Forest, Woodbridge, Suffolk,IP12 3NF.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Other conditions of entry see over page.

1 The Finn Valley Riding Club shall not be liable for any claim in respect of damage, loss, injury to any person, horse or property however caused in respect or in connection with or arising out of this event.

HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY FOR FINN VALLEY RIDING CLUB a) The Organiser (organising committee) has the overall responsibility for Health & Safety. b) The event is organised in accordance with Health & Safety Legislation and all who have (to any extent) control of premises or site at the event are responsible for ensuring that: i)everything reasonably practicable is done to ensure the Health & Safety of those attending the event. ii) they conduct themselves and any person attending so that they do not put themselves or anyone else at risk iii) access and egress from the site is safe.

2 All dogs must be kept on leads at all times. 3 The wearing of crash helmets complying to BS EN 1384 or PAS 015 standard is compulsory. Chin straps must be secured at all times when mounted. Spot checks of crash helmets will be carried out. 4 Participants must obey the direction of steward at all times 5 Participants travelling alone must leave details with the secretary in case of an accident.
