There WILL be an official measurer. Judges John Defilippi and fellow exhibitor Paul Mount will be a VMOs. If the “Will dog need to be measured? says YES, you will have to “check-in” in the morning and tell them you have a valid permanent height card or valid temporary measurement slip or be measured by the one of the judges. DO NOT RISK A Q – GET MEASURED BEFORE RUNNING. It is now the exhibitor’s responsibility to get their dog measured and to know the jump height card rules. AKC will check this data and you will lose a Q if you do not get measured before running. The Jump Height Card rules are in EVERY PREMIUM – please be sure you have read them and understand them! SATURDAY AND SUNDAY:: Site is open 6:45 am Measuring: 7:30 am Friday, 7-7:30 am Saturday & Sunday (held again before each novice class and through-out the day based on judge availability) for all dogs without a permanent height card that have not previously been measured. There will be two VMOs – so you can get both of your 2 needed measurements for a permanent height card if you dog is over 2 years old. NO DOGS ALLOWED TO “POTTY” IN THE BUILDING. Failure to observe this rule is subject to a bench hearing and immediate excusal from the trial for the balance of the trial days. . Please be considerate of your friends and neighbors and conserve crating space. Stack crates whenever possible and leave aisle ways clear or we will have to move you. No Chairs will be permitted in the crating room. All crates must be placed on a mat or tarp. There will be crating coordinator or crating volunteers to help set up crating. Flexi-Leads MUST be kept at the 2’ LOCKED position when used IN and NEAR the building. . CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS & YOURSELVES! Poop bags and trash cans will be available for clean-up – please use them! . YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO CLEAN UP AFTER YOR DOG. Please carry the appropriate supplies and keep the trial site clean. NO DOGS OFF LEASH INSIDE OR OUTSIDE except in the ring or practice jump areas. . PARKING: Loading and unloading ONLY in front of the main entrance. Do not leave your vehicle unattended in the loading and unloading area. No Parking in this area. All vehicles must be parked in designated areas. Vehicles not in compliance with parking rules will be towed away at the owner’s expense. The facility is located on a dead end street. There is a parking lot on the right before you get to the building with ample parking. Parking is allowed in front of the building and on the street. Please park only on the curb side. The street is not wide enough to accommodate parking on both sides. Anyone parked on the grassy side will be asked to move. . Limited Handicapped car/van parking please arrive early to obtain a spot. . Please be considerate of the public restrooms. Trash cans are placed there for proper disposal of paper products. . SORRY – Dogs are not allowed in any restrooms at any time. Please crate your dog or have someone hold your dog for you while using the restroom. . Hotels: Dogs should not be left unattended in the hotel. Reports of barking dogs left unattended in the hotel OR OTHER BEHAVIOR DEEMED INAPPROPRIATE BY THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT MAY be subject to a bench hearing. You must clean up after your dogs at the hotel.
