STEPNEY EPISCOPAL AREA Institutions/collations and Inductions
The Bishop will institute or collate and preach. He will also preside at the Eucharist if there is one. The Archdeacon will induct.
Invitations are the responsibility of the Churchwardens and PCC in consultation with the new priest. Please include in the invitation list the Mayor of the Borough, ministers of other denominations in the parish, all clergy, readers and churchwardens in the Deanery and the Deanery Lay Chair. Template invitations are available on the Stepney Area section of the London Diocesan intranet: http://gabriel.london.anglican.org/open/Area/Stepney. Please feel free to download the appropriate one and forward it to the Churchwardens and PCC for them to adapt and use.
Please return this form to the Bishop of Stepney’s office by e-mail at least one month before the date of the event.
