CLUBS:  Congratulations to all winners of ribbons in the Fair School Art Department. We won over 25 ribbons in In 3 classes. A special congratulations to Jace Hill for winning Best of Show. I hope everyone enjoyed viewing the over 1,300 pieces of art on display in the School art department.  Interact Members.. There will be a meeting on Wednesday, Sept 27 from 3:00-3:30 in Mrs. Hobbs's room. Pick up will be in the 7th/8th grade parking lot at 3:30. Please bring boxes of Saltine Crackers to the meeting. We will be donating these to the Family Resource Center. Three boxes equals 1 service hour. Boxes may be purchased at Kroger or the Dollar Tree for $1.00. Limit of 6 boxes per member may be donated for service hours. If you can't attend the meeting, you may still bring the boxes of crackers to Mrs. Hobbs's room.  STUDENT COUNCIL: Shirt sizes are needed now. The following students need to come see Mrs. Harmon & give their shirt sizes: Bella Cantrell, Ojani Hernandez, Molly Dodd, Brittany Wilkinson, and Coia Pope. The cost is $6 per shirt and the money needs to be turned in by Friday, September 22nd.  Drama Students: A Drama Club handbook sheet will be placed in your home base teacher's mailbox this morning. If you do not receive this from your home base teacher, please see Mrs. Riggs for a copy. Return these signed as soon as possible to Mrs. Riggs.  Science Club- We will meet at the end of September. There are still some open spots-see Mrs. Lokey Room 202 if interested.  The History Club of WCMS begins its 3rd year as a club this school year. If you have an interest, please obtain an application from your history teacher or see Steve Hillis.  If you are interested in going to Washington, D.C., there will be an informational meeting today Thursday, September 21st, in the auditorium. The meeting begins at 6:00 pm and will be over by 7:00 pm.  STUDENT COUNCIL is collecting phone books again. Please start bringing in those phone books, they may be turned in to Megan Harmon. The class that brings in the most will earn an ice cream sandwich party. Home base teachers, please keep track of how many you have turned in.  Pep Club Cards can be purchased through your home base class for $2. These cards can be used at all WCMS home Ball games. If the gate is $5.00, you pay $2.00. If the gate is $3.00, you would pay $1.00
