Greg Stefani is first vice president and chief operating officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Appointed to the position November 1, 2011, Mr. Stefani is the second-ranking official of the Bank. Chair of the Bank’s Executive Leadership Team, he oversees all operating and support activities in the Cleveland headquarters, as well as the Bank’s branches in Pittsburgh and Cincinnati. During Mr. Stefani’s 30-year tenure with the Bank, he has spent time in many areas of the Bank. He established an organization-wide function designed to elevate the Bank’s contributions to banking and payments policy issues and more recently has developed expertise in strategic planning and risk management.

Mr. Stefani is on the board of directors of United Way of Greater Cleveland and the board of advisors of the Commission on Economic Inclusion, and he is a member of Financial Executives International (FEI) and the Risk Management Association (RMA). In 2010, he completed Leadership Cleveland, a program designed to build leadership resources within the greater Cleveland community. Mr. Stefani earned his degree in business administration and finance and his MBA from Bowling Green State University. He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado.
