Adults as Learners: Adults bring different levels of knowledge and experiences. Adults want to learn and to be productive. Adults’ learning is impacted thru personal background. Learning Process: Participants learn more when associated with past experiences and knowledge. Participants have a variety of learning styles. Participants learn in collaborative self-regulating, inter- dependent and connected ways. Assumptions: Current program commitments: All present commitments, along with new ideas and concerns, will be considered as possible program priorities on an equal basis. Organizational context: It is expected that training programs will result in increased productivity and effectiveness of employees on behalf of the society in which they serve.
