Fisheries Amendment (Catch Limit for Scallop Dive (Port Phillip Bay) Fishery) Regulations 2017
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations: Dated: 27 March 2017 Responsible Minister: JAALA PULFORD Minister for Agriculture
MONICA BIRD Acting Clerk of the Executive Council 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Fisheries Regulations 2009 to prescribe an annual catch limit as a condition of every Scallop Dive (Port Phillip Bay) Fishery Access Licence. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 153 of the Fisheries Act 1995. 3 Commencement These Regulations come into operation on 1 April 2017.
4 New regulation 413BA inserted After regulation 413B of the Fisheries Regulations 20091 insert—
2 "413BA Annual catch limit for scallop under Scallop Dive (Port Phillip Bay) Fishery Access Licence In a period from 1 April in any year to 31 March of the following year inclusive, no more than 60 tonnes of scallop may be taken under the licence.". 5 Schedule 14—Designated licence conditions In Schedule 14 to the Fisheries Regulations 2009, after "413" insert "and 413BA". ═════════════
