(Each state will have 30 minutes to report what type of CNMP / CAFO / AFO activities are ongoing in their state, and a brief overview of NRCS and State Regulatory projects - especially anything that may be new, unique, or innovative. Each state should cover the following: Overview, partnerships, CNMP plan development, types of engineering practices installed, EQIP Program Rates related to AWS, and state permit requirements.)

What challenges are you facing in your animal waste planning, design, and construction process? How are you funding animal waste practices through EQIP? How are you handling geotechnical investigations and geotechnical problems? Are you using the AWM software? Are you using Technical Service Providers for designing animal waste systems?

. Required Changes to NMP Planning Tools . Public Notice/hearings . Annual reporting requirements . Effect of Giving Manure Away – Does that put state regulatory programs that allow it in conflict with NRCS? . With EPA’s new reporting rule, do you anticipate more producers wanting assistance? . In states where there have been increased EPA enforcement actions, do you see an increased demand for services?
