2Nd Annual Krewe of Little Rascals Children S Parade

Saturday, February 15th 1:00 p.m. (Registration/Line-up: 12 – 1 p.m.)

The City of Pascagoula and the Pascagoula Main Street Association are sponsoring a children’s parade on Saturday, February 15, (rain date) February 22 at 1 p.m. The parade will begin at the Pascagoula Library Downtown. It will start in front of the library and go straight down Delmas Avenue and end at Anchor Square.

Participation is open to all children 12 and under (individuals, cheerleaders, dance teams, football/baseball/soccer teams.) Children may walk, ride bicycles, scooters (motorless), wagons, power wheels, skateboards or rollerskates/roller blades. No motorized vehicles will be allowed, except for special need wheelchairs. An adult must walk in the parade with any participant under the age of 6. Once the parade has started, all participants must remain in the parade and on the parade route.

Everyone is encouraged to wear a mask and/or costume. Bicycles, wagons, power wheels can also be decorated as floats. There will be a costume and float contest.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own throws (mardi gras beads, candy, etc…)

Check in will take place under a tent at the Pascagoula Library from 12 to 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 15.

I understand that all children must be checked in at the parade forming area by an adult and picked up by that same adult under the tent at Anchor Square. I recognize that there are certain risks to participation in the parade and the parade sponsors are only responsible for reasonable supervision.
