Thames to Paeroa Cruise This scenic and tranquil 4hour cruise is exclusive to the Riverhead Ferry (MV Kawau Isle). Enjoy the novelty of watching the Kopu Bridge being swung open to allow us passage up the Waihou River, an experience soon to be lost forever. Along the way we pass many places of interest including the innermost landing of Captain Cook and his men near Netherton! The skipper, Paul, provides an interesting and informative commentary about the original and current Maori and European use of the river and surrounding land. Cath provides tasty refreshments for the duration of the voyage - all included in your fare. You may like to take the opportunity to visit the Maritime Museum, Paeroa, at the end of your cruise.
