The Show Committee has the right to cancel or combine any class. 5. No stallions are to be shown and all animals must be under control. 6. Riders must ride within the limits of their riding ability and have their mount under control at all times. 7. Junior is 3rd-5th grades; Intermediate is 6th-8th grades; Senior is 9th-12th grades; Senior Plus beyond High School as of January 1, 2016. Information regarding Requests for Special Accommodations: We highly recommend that any requests for special accommodations be submitted during the pre-registration process. This will give the Judge adequate time to consider your request prior to the event. Members need to make requests in writing. If necessary, letters of request can still be submitted at on-site registration, but this is not recommended as it reduces the time available for the Judge’s consideration. Most Judges will want to meet with the member prior to the start of the event to clarify any questions. We advise that anyone who may have a request for special accommodations seek the advice of Extension 4-H staff prior to writing their letter of request. Every attempt will be made to meet requests for accommodations. However, WSU will not drop a class requirement or otherwise fundamentally change its equine program. Neither will it provide an accommodation which is not equitable to all competitors or which permanently eliminates a standard portion of any class pattern. Further information is available at the Extension Office.
