DISSERTATION Perceptions of Efficacy of Gifted Young Women in Different Learning Environments. A qualitative study using focus groups and close observation to identify and describe the perceptions of self-efficacy of gifted females in a public high school, a private high school and an early college entrance program. The study identified factors in each environment that affect students’ efficacy perceptions. Dissertation director: Dr. Janice A. Leroux.
