Network Change: AT&T Southwest will make changes necessary to collapse the existing Alcatel-Lucent 1AESS Switch (HSTNTXADCG0) located in the Houston Aldine Central Office, Houston, Texas, into the collocated Genband-Nortel MG9K remote switch (HSTNTXADRP0).
Description of Type of Changes Planned: "book22"The purpose of this Network Disclosure is to provide information regarding the collapse of the existing Alcatel-Lucent 1AESS (HSTNTXADCG0) into the collocated Genband-Nortel MG9K (HSTNTXADRP0) switch during the first quarter of 2012. The HSTN Weslayan Access Tandem, currently a Genband/Nortel CS2K, will act as host for the Aldine MG9000 ABI remote switch.

Description of Reasonably Foreseeable Impact of the Planned Changes: AT&T Southwest, Independent LECs, Wireless Service Providers, CLECs and Interexchange Carriers may be affected due to changes in routing of originating and terminating traffic associated with the replacement of the HSTNTXADCG0 1AESS switch. All interoffice trunking to HSTNTXADCG0 must be re-homed to the HSTNTX0806T host switch. Direct Inward Dial (DID) and Primary Rate Interface (PRI) ISDN service will be served from the new MG9000 ABI remote switch (HSTNTXADRP0). CLECs must evaluate whether their existing trunk groups to HSTNTX0806T are adequately sized to support the addition of HSTNTXADRP0 traffic.
