Procedure

PART I 1. Observe the oobleck in the container (DO NOT REMOVE FROM THE CONTAINER). Make observations about the mystery goop and record the observations in the chart. Observations should be quantitative and qualitative. Be sure to use all your senses, not just the sense of sight, to make observations. Fill in the following chart. PART II 1. With a QUICK jabbing motion, try to thrust your finger into the solution. Record your observations: Observation = ______2. Now, slowly lower your finger into the solution. 10. At the end of the lab, make sure your table is clean (if not, wipe it off). Wash off the penny and plastic knife. Return them and the bottle of Solution A to a place designated by your teacher. Throw out the cup of Oobleck, the wax paper, and the toothpick. Wash off your hands.
