The Committee on Ministry met on 7 January 2009 and took the following actions: 1. Appoint John Forrest Moderator, Wappingers Falls effective 16 January 2009 thru 31 March 2009, as needed. 2. Appoint Gail Burger Moderator, Kingston, effective 1 January 2009. 3. Designate Karl Esmark Member at large effective 1 April 2008. 4. Designate John Forrest Member at large effective 16 January 2009. 5. Appoint Glenn Henricksen Moderator at Calvary, Newburgh, effective 16 January 2009. 6. Appoint Baron Ashfield Moderator at Washingtonville, First effective 20 January 2009. 7. Renew the Interim contract between Baron Ashfield and Monroe effective 8 July 2008 -30 June 2009; Presbytery minimums exceeded and 2008 COLA included. 8. Approve the following contract between Hans Hallundbaek, CLP, and Croton Falls, ¼ time, effective 15 February 2009 for 3 years: Salary 6506. Mr. Hallundbaek’s commissioning date is pending. 9. Enroll Elias Dantas (RCA) as temporary member of Presbytery. Approve/confirm Rev. Dantas’ effective date as Stated Supply at Florida as 7 December 2008. 10. Approve Anne Wood to serve communion at Chester on 4 January 2009. 11. Approve the recommendation that the attached Administrative Leave Policy be brought to Presbytery for a first reading on 27 January 2009 with a subsequent vote at the 24 March, 2009 Presbytery meeting. For Information: Cooperative Leadership Gatherings have been scheduled for Hillburn, Brook on 29 January 2009 and Pelham, Huguenot on 24 February 2009.
