Meals on Wheels Driver (Per Diem) The Meals on Wheels Driver will drive a company van and deliver meals to homebound elders in Lynn, Lynnfield, Saugus, Swampscott and Nahant. Qualifications: Must have a valid license and a clean driving record. Must be 21 years of age. Hours: Per Diem

Long Term Care Ombudsman Program Manager This position will supervise and coordinate the Ombudsman Program Staff. Some primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, serving as the official representative of the State Long Term Care Ombudsman. Receive, investigate, and resolve complaints, and maintain local program records, ensure Ombudsman visits with residents in each assigned facility on a regular basis, provide in service education to facility staff about resident rights, abuse, mistreatment, neglect, and misappropriation. Qualifications: Significant experience in health care or human services management, preferably in an elder care settings. Strong abilities to advocate, negotiate, teach, and manage crisis situations in support of client rights with respect for all parties. Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, supervise, and support volunteers. BA Degree Preferred. Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week.

Information Technology Manager The IT Manager will lead a team of four I.T. professionals in meeting the information technology, telecommunications and other technology needs of a large multi- service, multi-location non-profit organization. Qualifications: The qualified candidate will have either a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 6 years of professional I.T. experience, with 2 years of supervisory experience; or an Associate’s Degree (or equivalent technical school) and 8 years of professional I.T. experience, with 2 years of supervisor experience. Must have broad I.T. background, including hardware, network administration, user support, telecommunications and database management. Must have experience with I.T. systems planning and capital budgeting. Must be either M.C.S.E. or M.C.S.A. certified and either A+ or Network (+) certified. Sequel certification preferred. Hours: Full Time

Transportation:

Training Instructor The Training Instructor is responsible for identifying, developing and delivering training sessions to GLSS Drivers, supervising Driver Coaches, and working cooperatively with the Operations and Safety Managers to ensure compliance with all company contracts. Coordinates trainings with the Recruiter on a regular basis. Conduct ride along programs with drivers to ensure that they fully understand and execute safe practices. Will be responsible for scheduling and conducting recertification training as needed and annual compliance training sessions. This position will provide on the job and classroom training to new and existing employees in a group or one on one setting. The Training Instructor will conduct training sessions that consist of, but not limited to, safe driving techniques, trip inspections, defensive driving, accident and emergency procedures, passenger unloading and loading, door to door, vehicle safety, ADA training, wheelchair assistance and accident prevention. Training Instructor will also be responsible to maintain and update employee files to assure all training programs required by the contracts we service are being met. Qualifications: Minimum 25 years of age, 2 years Para transit driving experience and 2 years of training experience. Must demonstrate leadership ability, be comfortable giving presentations and have excellent oral communications. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to handle situations in a courteous, non-hostile manner. Certified in First Aid Adult/Infant and Child CPR, and DDC4. Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Must have a valid Massachusetts Driver’s license and knowledge of the GLSS service area. Hours: 40 hours per week with mandatory over time.

Dispatcher This position will coordinate the daily operations of the drivers; communicate with drivers using a two-way radio, and input daily trip information into the system. Job includes checking driver schedules, communicating with drivers, and answering passenger calls on a daily basis. Qualifications: Dispatch experience preferred. Excellent phone skills, computer experience and knowledge of the North Shore and Boston areas are required. Hours: Tuesday- Saturday 10:00am- 6:30pm.

Customer Service Representative The Customer Service Representative will respond to telephone and personal requests for service from our consumers. In addition, this position will coordinate with other providers to facilitate the consumer’s transportation and accurately enter all information into the computer system. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Computer experience required. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to handle situations in a courteous manner. Hours: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 11:30am - 8:00pm

Fleet Assistant The Fleet Assistant will support the department by ensuring all vehicles and equipment are safely maintained. Primary responsibilities include minor repairs to vehicles, inventory of parts and supplies, and reviewing vehicle reports on a daily basis. This position is also responsible for ensuring all drivers receive their schedules in a timely manner. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, computer experience for maintaining database of vehicle information and familiarity with make and models of current fleet vehicles. Must have a valid Massachusetts Driver’s license. Hours: Sunday, Monday 4:00am – 2:30pm and Wednesday, Thursday 12:00pm-10:30pm

Drivers Our Transportation Department located in Lynn has immediate Driver positions for full time shifts. Our Transportation Group is available to the Consumers with 22 hours a day of coverage, 7 days a week. As a Driver, you will transport elderly and disabled clients door to door to medical appointments, work, school and recreational events throughout the greater North Shore and greater Boston area. Qualifications: Applicants must be 21 years of age, have a clean driving record and have a minimum of three years of driving experience. As a condition of employment, we conduct drug and alcohol testing for all candidates seeking employment. Hours: Varied, 22 hours a day of coverage, 7 days a week.

Facilities Assistant (Part Time) The Facilities Assistant is responsible for ensuring the buildings, grounds, and all relevant maintenance systems are in good working order. They will be responsible for all the day-to-day maintenance needs of the department including but not limited to, minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, errands, and the moving of office furniture. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid Massachusetts Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle. Must have a minimum of three years experience in a maintenance service oriented environment. Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
